Durango is an amazing place to live, but the lack of indoor tennis courts keeps tennis enthusiasts from playing in the snowy months. Pickleball can help keep your game in tune with the ability to play on an indoor gym floor during winter. Also a great social and fun game, you can play outdoor on a hard court in the summer. Never set the rackets (or paddles) down for an extended period!
Using a paddle slightly larger than one used in ping pong and a low bouncing wiffle ball, the game features fast paced exchanges. Volleys at the net, dink close contact touch shots and the overhead smash are main shots to utilize with some overlap with techniques used on a tennis court.
